The Islamic World Science and Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute (ISC) has announced that the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) has secured the top position in the evaluation of Iran's research institutes and organizations for the third consecutive year (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23).
According to ISC officials, a total of 58 research institutes and organizations participated in the recent ranking for the year 1402-1401. Based on an integrated assessment of these institutions, IROST has distinguished itself by ranking first.
Dr. Alavian Mehr, head of ISC, emphasized that the data used for this three-year performance evaluation was collected through three methods: research data gathered by the ISC ranking team, self-reporting via electronic questionnaires completed by representatives from the institutes, and additional information provided by the Ministry of Science and other organizations.
He expressed optimism about the future, stating, “We hope that with the ongoing development of university, research, and organizational activities across the country, the standing of these institutions will continue to improve both nationally and internationally.”
This achievement highlights IROST’s growing strength in scientific research and innovation, positioning IROST as a notable player in the Iranian scientific community.
